The Keg Steakhouse + Bar — Saskatoon - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Good dining experience. I ordered a full rack of ribs and my dining partner ordered butcher's cut with gnocchi. We also ordered the garlic shrimp as an appetizer, which was the absolute best part of the food experience. I was a bit disappointed that there was no gravy. The Keg ... uses Heinz ketchup which was a bit of a consolation. I also enjoy a soup with my dinner but there is no soup on the menu. The service was amazing. Our server, Abraham was everything a server should be. I very much liked how he introduced himself using his full name, which added to the ambiance of the environment. Although I'm sure this Edward Norton doppelganger is super cool in his personal life and probably "Abe" to his buddies, his professionalism impressed me more than most... and I dine out often. The table setting was beautiful and the wine glasses were spotless. The hosts, hostesses and servers are all clothed tastefully and uniformly. It's not too often that we visit The Keg. We started with the Classic Ceasar Salad & Fresh Bread. For the main course we had the Prime Rib with Mashed Potatoes & Baseball Top Sirloin with Twice Baked Potatoes (w/little bits of bacon). The little ones started off with carrots, ... celery & orange slices. Their main course; Kids Sirloin & The Keg Mini Burgers accompanied with fries, chocolate milk (served with paper straws) & ice cream sundae. The atmosphere is dark & noisy. The noise doesn't bother us because the kids like playing w/their tablets while we wait for food (Bonus: The Keg offers free Wi-Fi). Our Server was great (RS), he checked on us a couple times, kept our water glasses full and we never had to ask twice for any special requests. Overall the food was really good, the kitchen made no errors and the steaks were almost cooked to perfection. Pretty good food, little pricey depending on your lifestyle, excellent service. We enjoyed pistachio salmon, baseball steak & creme brulee! O, and the baked brie appetizer was fantastic!

Best steak ever. I like the outdoor better. Once had a few friends there and it took them 90 minutes to get to us ( we were only 4). But apart from that experience I strongly suggest their steak and burgers. Also very good creme brulee.

Great place for fine dining. Beautiful ambience. Great atmosphere. Staffs are really helpful And nice. Food is delicious. It's fine dining so don't think it's Going to be any cheap but it's worth it. Location is superb. Over all great place to go with your friends and family! Their pistachio ... crusted salmon is just out of the world. One less star Caz they stopped serving some really good Beer!
