This is an excellent restaurant. Delicious, comforting food. The family running it is so friendly and warm. The decor is what it is and I love it. I recommend the beef noodle soup, it's simple and so good. The hand-pulled noodles are amazing and the soup comes with a side ... of spicy shredded potatoes. This is my first Google review! I am a U of S student from China. I miss my home so much. I am so glad that I find Temperance Cafe where i can have authentic Chinese food just like my mom's cook. The food was nothing special. The place needs redecorating. The only guy working hid in the kitchen, had to call him, I couldn't see him, when I wanted to pay.

The Best Chinese food in the city. I've been a regular here for over a year now and it's never disappointed. The owners are very welcoming. The Pork & Fresh Dill dumplings are beyond excellent.
