Went to Wanuskewin for a women’s retreat. The land is beautiful and peaceful. The building is amazing and light filled. Took the buffalo jump guided tour, very informative. Loved it!
Attended the 60th anniversary celebration of Churchill River Canoe Outfitters. Great gathering, great food, great program and live entertainment. Wonderful facility with awesome views of the surrounding hills. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the $5 flat fee required in the parking lot!
A great place to visit and learn the history of the local indigenous community. Either inside or outside, it was well maintained. Staffs were friendly. There are several trails that you can easily spend a few hours. Kid-friendly too.
Very educational with something for all ages. It was a hot summer day so we didn't spend too much time on the trails. What we walked provided lovely views.
