This was in walking distance from Doubletree Hotel on Chestnut. We chose outside seating and there was a nice view. Our server was slow and not attentive but the food and drinks were very good.

Update: I was happy to be invited back to this place, and I had a great time! My waitress was patient, polite, and didn’t rush me. I watched the hockey game and enjoyed a delicious meal. If you like steak and mushrooms, try the New York Truffle Striploin. The truffled fries ... also had bold flavors that I loved. This was a true Jack Astor's experience! ———— I came here to celebrate my birthday with friends, but unfortunately two didn’t show up. As I waited for them, the waitress came to my table three times. Then two friends arrived and we ordered our food. I ordered a steak NY that was supposed to come with assorted vegetables, but it arrived with only pieces of red bell pepper and green beans. Additionally, the steak too fatty. The real issue arose when the waitress remarked, "We are in Canada, guys, we do tips here," because one of my friends decided not to tip her.
