I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to several issues: 1. **Drinks**: When our drinks were served, they came without ice, soda, or water. We had to specifically ask for each of these, which was inconvenient and disrupted our dining experience. 2. **Chicken ... Chilly**: This dish was particularly problematic. The chicken was so tough that it required a knife to cut through it. Additionally, the texture and taste suggested that the chicken was either cooked with the skin on or was stale, making it quite unappetizing. 3. **Biryani**: The biryani we ordered was not up to standard. It seemed like the restaurant had added a flavored chicken that did not complement the dish. Moreover, the biryani was overloaded with garam masala, which might have been because we requested it to be spicy. However, the result was an unpleasantly overpowering flavor. 4. **Main Course**: There was an error with our main course order. When we pointed this out, the server informed us that the mistake was made by the chef. This passing of blame did not help improve our impression of the service. 5. **Paneer Dish**: On a positive note, the paneer item was exceptional. It was well-prepared and delicious, standing out as the highlight of our meal. I love Backroom! The management changed recently and it's so good! The drinks are amazing and so is the food. It's me and hubby's fav place to go. No kidding we are here every week and sometimes twice so that's short for how much we love this place. The whole ... vibe is amazing especially the live music night on Saturday is our favourite. We have been here with our whole family (15+) and we absolutely adore each and every person here. It was nicely decorated but the food and service was below average. Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids under 5, seated at a small round table. There was 1 plate, and 2 glasses on the table. One was dirty with lipstick stains. We ordered 4 appetizer dishes and ... had to move to another table before even recieving all our selections because the table was very small. Appetizers dishes were presenuted well but lacked flavor. We ordered takeout from this restaurant before which was tasty so we had high hopes for our dine in experience but left a little disappointed. It’s a very nice place to eat Indian food. Veg manchurian here is one of the tastiest appetiser I tried so far. Apart from that I have eaten momos and Khatte wale laddoo but which I didn’t find laddoos tasty, even in look-wise they were different from the Amritsar.
