I've worked in ice cream shops since I could start working (it was my first job!).. and I've tried lots of different ice creams.. and oh my goodness, Fable's Ice Cream is FABULOUS! I tried their Raspberry Goat Cheese flavour and it was delicious. Very creamy, a little tangy and ... not too sweet. Such a cool and amazing place! Love the atmosphere and the decor. Got one cherry cheesecake ice cream and a raspberry sorbet! They were both amazing! And thanks to the two girls helping us decide what to get at the front today! Will come back, and definitely recommend!
Ordered 2 cones and 1 small cup for our 4 year old. It was $18 for 2 singles and 1 kid sized. I asked for not waffle cones but it turns out they misheard and charged us anyway. When I pointed this out, the guy says “Oh sorry about that.“ He ... doesn’t offer to replace, doesn’t offer to refund $3 for the cones, just keeps going about the orders. I didn’t want to raise a fuss and my spouse likes waffle cones but I am an anomaly and do not. The flavour wasn’t bad but the waffle cone left a yucky taste in my mouth. I can appreciate the need to charge more for homemade ingredients but the portions could have been more generous, imho. Not super impressed but might give another chance another day, we shall see.
