This is our go-to buffet in Saskatoon. We have gone here for both work and family events or just for a casual dinner out with friends. The food never disappoints. There is something for everyone. The restaurant has nice decor, and it is always clean, and food is fresh. ... There are many items on the menu to choose from. Start with soup and salad. Then select from perogies, mashed potatoes, sticky rice, veggies, fried chicken, BBQ ribs, Chinese selections, sushi, salad rolls, and many others. Weekends, they have a hip of beef. I’m nowhere near qualified to give a proper review to the quality of food that is served here. Frankly, I came here as a student very often and the place was okay. But after experiencing many East Asian restaurants across the continent, I with my limited technical expertise, can say ... that the quality of food (especially sushi and rolls) served here is way below par. I forgot to take photos for most of the meal because I was enjoying the food too much. The water did taste soapy though and we didn’t have a server come around to ask to replace it. We had a good experience here, the space looks clean, the staff were friendly and the buffet has good options, like ginger beef, chicken, soups and dumplings. You can also order a few dishes using their tablet, like sushi, rolls and etc. We had a problem with the Diet Pepsi ... coming from the machine (it took a long time to get the right proportion of syrup and gas), so my husband wasn’t able to have his meal with a drink (he can only drink diet or zero), but overall, a good experience. We ordered delivery. The order arrived on time. Everything was delicious and fresh. Enough wasabi, ginger and sauce. We visited the facility itself. There was a strong smell of chlorine from the very entrance, and then throughout the establishment. At the buffet, the dishes are fatty. ... The order was delivered quickly. The desserts are normal, but the drinks are terrible, the water is not purified - you can feel the strong taste of chlorine. Read more
