I am surprised this place doesn't have much higher ratings. First of all. Location, is perfect close to a large number of gates. Secondly it's large, with multiple different types of seating, high, low, booths, tables, etc. I was attended to and seated within seconds. ... For a traveler it's key to have options with power for laptop and phone. I asked for a booth with power and they gave me one. Atmosphere was great as they have multiple TVs and there was a game on that day. Service is outstanding during my visit (WAIT STAFF Evelyn) and after my visit when I called to get a copy of the receipt I had lost (Thank you Khaled). Khaled the general manager went out of his way to help. Now finally. The food, my fish and chips was atleast a 8.5/10, maybe a 9 even. It's also very reasonably priced. My wife, son and I had a bite to eat before our flight to Calgary. In the Calgary Airport my son became violently ill and lasted on the next flight to Kelowna. Leaving the airport he also got the runs. He had the chicken stripes and waffles. Definitely food poison!

Got sat, waited 25 minutes and no one came to take drink order or even acknowledge us, a party of 4; We had to flag someone to take our order yet the waitress said (assuming to their manager) hey can you take their order. He begrudgingly walked over, did not ... make eye contact. Why is this place even open. 4 staff are slowly walking around and one person could easily handle the amount of tables that were there. I would rather go next door to Tim Hortons. Onion rings were cold. At least Philly steak was hot. No one came around while we ate and had to flag down someone to pay. Had an hour and 20 minutes before boarding so I decided to sit down to grab a bite to eat. The restaurant wasn’t busy so frigid have enough time but it took over an hour to get my food and had to get a box with it to take on ... the plane. I keep wanting to like this restaurant. Most of the time, I leave unsatisfied. I fly a lot for work and this is the only sit down restaurant past security. I've tried many of their dishes. The portions are good, the prices are high (common for airports) but the food ... is just lack luster. Occasionally they try to expand their horizons by putting dishes like Banh mi on the menu, but those have tended to be worse than their regular fare. I'm not sure if it is just all pre-made food, or unfresh ingredients or uninventiveness in the kitchen. Whatever the case, the food is safe (I've never gotten food poisoning etc) and it comes out hot, but none of it is memorable or particularly tasty. If you need a hot meal before flying, this will provide. Otherwise I would get your food before crossing security. Read more
