We came in and it was crowded. Okay, we picked a good spot. We get seated and look at the menus. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes before a drink order. We looked at the other tables and we counted 8 tables with no food. Read some reviews on ... here, same thing. Slow kitchen. So we just left and got La Coq. Hit the spot. Great vibes for the morning! Delicious food! They have so many options for breakfast! If I am in town I will go there again!

Nice family style restaurant near the galleries de la capitale. The food is fine but not out of this world, You can get a nice steak , a tasty piece of fish, or a burger , ribs, or a nice salad. We had a carribean salad(which was ok but the chicken was tasteless..) ... and a small poutine with pork on it, which was quite good. the ambiance is nice and the staff is quite friendly. Solid breakfast, didn't disappoint. The eggs were perfectly cooked with oozing yolk for my eggs Benedict order. They have a variety of in house specials and a kids menu. Great place to bring family and friends.

Fast service and nice people. But let's talk about the food, ... 5 Star for sure. The "SHRIMP CAKE WITH BELL PEPPER" is one of the best "entrées" that I've had in all my life. You have to try it. As for the main dish, I tried the AA+ steak; ... pretty good But the mushroom sauce is the high note for this particular dish. And as for desert, I ordered the carrot cake; not too sweet, very good. Everything is good. Just be mindful that you'll probably spend 100$ (with tip) for 2 ... 😬.... I find it a bit pricy, ... Other than that, I would recommend. Read more
