OH MY GOODNESS!, I have to say that that the Café De Paris restaurant was a fabulous find! By all means do stop in and check them out! The atmosphere was such a good vibe from the minute we stepped through the door. The servers were great, and the food ... was amazing! It's was actually my first time having a crepe. The bonus to our evening was the actual beauty of the building. I was drawn to the historical aspects and was delighted when the owner (who was very attentive to all of his patrons) said to look around, and Said that it was okay to go upstairs. Came here with a large group for our first night in Quebec. Our group was genuinely excited to experience a night out, seeing as they are students. The food was mediocre to say the least, and many were left waiting for their food long after many tables had been served. ... We ordered breaded chicken, but instead were served chicken covered in tomato sauce and onions. Aside from this confusing and crucial aspect of our dinner, our server was extremely unhappy doing his job. He was very rude to the group and informed the kids that “they were terrible children” and “next time they should go to McDonald’s”. Extremely high level of unprofessionalism from someone who I would expect to experience these types of groups frequently seeing as this is the time of year where schools take large groups on year end trips. Definitely a terrible restaurant and a traveller trap. Waiters are discriminative. Extremely poor service. We have been waiting for 20+ minutes to get our bill and the Quebec guys’ table got the bill immediately after request. We have been waiting for 10+ minutes and still no one came to pick up ... our money. Terrible! Terrible! We're very glad we stopped at this little restaurant in the old part of Québec. The server was really friendly, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was authentic. Some of the best poutine I've had so far, and the other dishes were excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Really expensive. Pizza dough was not fully cooked. Staff made us wait like 10 minutes till we get a spot and took way too long to come serve us and expecting us to tip for this low quality service while there was no one in store.
