This review, unfortunately centers on drinks only as we had dinner reservations elsewhere. The Margarita was refreshingly served in a Martini glass and half the rim was coated in salt, a very wise move by the bartender, appealing to those that like, or not like the briny flavor. My wife ... thought it was the best she’d ever tasted in her life, and she can be hard as nails. My red ale was also enjoyed. Great atmosphere, looks like medieval pub lol, our waiter was a magician serving everyone and siting people all by himself, the beer was amazing, service great, atmosphere just perfect 10/10

They told me the onion soup was good, and they didn’t lie. The staff was great too.

Stopped in 6 months ago and found it to be a hidden gem! Was one of the first stops we made when we returned to Quebec....had the best French onion soup and smoked meat sandwich! Espresso martinis are wonderful, and the staff are still amazing! I highly recommend stopping by ... for a drink and a bite. Read more

We popped in for a drink and snack last night. I give 5 stars for atmosphere, as the pub was quite busy and lively. The pub was in some old cellars by the looks of it and had a wood fire roaring away, which was a blessing as it was so ... cold outside. I only give 3 stars for food and service because the service was very slow. We waited 1hr 15mins for soup and hotdog. One group left before food arrived as they were waiting longer than us. There were only 2 staff working though, so there's that. My wifes onion soup was very nice, my hotdog was ok. I'm not sure how hygienic the cooking area was though. Twice, I saw the guy behind the bar cough above the bowls as he was pouring soup into them. Occasionally, he rinsed his hands under the tap with plain water. Good for drinks, not for food (in my opinion). Read more
