We visited Montreal in May 2024, and were staying in the hotel. My sister and I were going to buy some oysters back to cook in the hotel. Knowing that we won’t be back to the hotel to cook the oysters within 1 hour, the lady was reluctant to sell ... oysters with shells opened to us to ensure their freshness. After much discussion, she sold us some and showed us how to open the oysters twice and once more before we left. With her instructions, I was able to open without cracking any. The oysters were so fresh and I would give 10/10. I was here on Saturday around noon and when I saw the lovely selection of oysters, I couldn’t resist. The chucker man was very charismatic and told us a little about the different types of oysters. We tried 6 varieties for lunch. They are high in protein and very satisfying. ... It was a perfect light lunch. We also took some home for Sunday and they were wonderful all over again! It was a very crowded raw oyster bar on the corner of the public market. I had the slurp and slurp express and was impressed with the quality and flavours. We're new to enjoying oysters so we were excited to try a variety of them. We went with the explorer box which came with 6 from the east coast, 3 from the west coast, and 3 from the U.S (for a dozen total). Very fresh and delicious oysters. On point customer service. Staff were very helpful, approachable and really really nice. Service is above and beyond. Large oyster selection. Value for money 😊😊 We bought the first time yesterday to try their oysters, it was the best oysters we ever had. No kidding. We had ... some oysters before but this taste none like those that we had. If theres a more superior word for excellent, then thats the word. We came back today to buy 2 more dozen to take on the trip home back to Ontario. They packed it with ice and the Oysters were still excellent when we arrived. 10/10 would recommend. Dont miss this out if youre out for a trip in montreal. You will not be disappointed!
