A hidden treasure. Some of the best fish n chip, very cozy and great service. Sadly its very small hence the cozy nice feeling and quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. Better not close down during Covid:(

A rare gem. This may be the best fish & chip resto in Montreal... The place is small seats about 20, so get there early if you into lunch. They do have a lunch menu. I was walking by, took a chance and only had fish and chips but I felt so lucky. It was subtle and tasty, both fries and fish cooked to perfection. I would have loved for the service, pretty dry, to be as generous.

Restaurant Ad Hoc is heaven for celiacs! The complete menu is gluten free. The restaurant is very charming. They do not have many tables so I do suggest to always make a reservation. Gluten free but still crunchy like fried goods! Fish and chips is delish. Fried calamar and fried shrimp delish! Glutenberg on tap!! This is a dream come true for celiacs or gluten intolerants. Ive read the reviews/comments and we decided to go and since finding fried goods is practically impossible when ... Celiac we got more and more excited with every bite. The staff IS FRIENDLY. They are NOT rude. I personally dont like a waittress asking me every 5 mins if i like my food. The place is so tiny she KNOWS. I like their style. They leave you alone to eat. Would recommend 100% to anyone with celiac. Had a hard time believing the first time that it was truly gluten free. Thats how good it is. Read more
