Wow. Just wow. I’ve heard about this legend for many years, but never got the chance to experience it. Tonight was the night, I experienced the 2$ chow mein legend. 10/10 experience. 10/10 food. I got the general Tao spring role and the owner was nice enough to put an ... extra spring role on the side!!!! He also brings the food to the TABLE!!! HE IS COOKING AND BRINGING THE FOOD TO ITS CLIENTS. JUST WOW WHAT A FREAKING LEGEND WILL COME AGAIN FOR SURE Read more
We wanted to try this place for a long time and decided to go while we were in town. Such delicious food for so cheap! Great and fast service. Great place to a a nice bite after going out.
Cash only $$ - this place has been around for many years. Inflation seems to not have affect the place at all. The owner is working pretty much alone, don't expect a super fast food service. You go there because its cheap, belly filling and good. The noodles are okay but it ... would have cost the same to do it at home. Service is friendly and polite. A small taste of streetfood of Asia. This is for the chow mien at 2am. I was craving chow mien and Chinatown doesn't open late anymore on weekends, I've always heard about it here but never went. The chow mien is really meh. Slap some soy sauce and chop suey would have been good, but it's you know, ... super cheap. The spring roll and peanut butter dumplings were solid. Cash only at that hour Read more

Chez Mein is great, and Mr Lee has worked hard to keep the same affordable plates for soo long. They’ve been serving the same late-night noodles for at least a decade, but they’ve had to change spots due to increasing rent, which has affected their google maps reviews. But this ... place used to have a line down the street every single night for so many years, of people wanting 3$ peanuty noodles and spring rolls. Covid and post-covid has significantly affected their business, which is so sad, but 10 years later they are still serving the same 3$ peanuty noodles and spring roll starting at 10pm. I hope they regain their popularity bc they deserve it!!!! Legitimately 2$ chowmein noodles with peanut, teriyaki and siracha sauce served fresh, cheap & quickly from the front window! Literally iconic!!! Vive chez mein!!! Read more
