Our hotel concierge recommended this as a good place to grab a drink. We sat at the bar and were greeted and taken good care of by Greg. I told him I like bourbon but didn’t know what I wanted so after a little chat he created a cocktail for ... me - which was delicious and should be on the menu! We found the pub on Valentine’s Day and it was very quiet. The staff was very attentive and friendly. There for any of our needs. Greg served us that night and he was extraordinary, going above and beyond. He made suggestions on the menu and took the time to get ... to know us. A great ambassador for the bar. The chef not only was an amazing cook, he was very friendly and outgoing as well. Overall, the staff was amazing which brought us back in on Thursday and Saturday as well. They were all well trained. A visit to this historic, downtown Montreal Pub is worthwhile. The interior boasts aged oak and other unique elements. The atmosphere is comforting and welcoming, The pub fare is very good, and there is enough variety for most tastes. Music is a little hit and miss! I was there after a rugby match on a Saturday around 2ish and it was quiet with only a few customers. Staff are lovely and pours a good beer. I will definitely be back.

I loved this Pub! Such nice ambiance - it’s loud but not too loud. Food is amazing! Specially the deep fried pickles! I stayed working up until late and had no problems. Loved my coffee with Baileys !
