Buffet Chinois Mandarin - Montreal, Quebec

Not worth the price. I used to go there back in the 90s and early 2000s for my birthday with the family. The food quality was awesome back then. Sadly, it has exponentially decreased over the years and is totally not worth the 30+$ they charge. The staff are cool ... but the place is dirty, outdated, empty aquarium? Why keep it? Overall, I would probably go there on my own before 3pm for the "reduced" price just for nostalgia but alas, like its counterpart in LaSalle, once a monumentous chain (I'm probably exaggerating but they were really great) with a somewhat decent variety of foods perfect for family gatherings is now a dying breed, slowly being replaced by the all-you-can-eat Sushis and Bistros. I'm quite sad to give this place a low rating but this place isn't the same as before. The food quality was great but there wasn't much variety for a buffet. Service was nice but there wasn't that many people so the place felt lonely.

I went there for a family gathering, I love eating Chinese food, and it takes a lot for me not to like it. It was the most disgusting dining experience in my life, the toilets are old and moldy there is a weird blood like substance on one of the ... urinals. The food is borderline inedible, the only good thing is the jello. After that horrible toilet experience I was even less hungry. I have one good thing to say about this place. The staff are super nice and I'm sure they know the horrors in this so called "buffet" as they say don't hate the player, hate the game. They are super nice and I recommend tipping them well.
