My daughter brought me out for Mothers day lunch and quality time together, we looked around the restaurants for Vegetarian options for myself and I came across Tall Grass Prairie bread. I absolutely loved my Mothers day lunch from here! I had a half of a veggie sandwich and orzo ... pasta but the absolute cherry on the cake was the Mushroom Turnover, it was the best thing I have ever tasted.... I may have sent my daughter back for 2 more LOL... I will definitely be back for more!!! the only downside was my croissant didn't get put in the bag so It was forgotten about until after we left. This place has excellent cinnamon buns. I try to get one any time I go to The Forks Market... or a half dozen so I can take some home and enjoy them later. The Queen Elizabeth coronation cake is delicious as well but I believe that one is seasonal.

Cinnamon rolls are heavenly (when fresh from the oven only) tried older ones and fresh ones, definitely makes a huge difference.. had some caramel and chocolate bites, the caramel one was really good, I personally found the chocolate one too sweet. This is a cozy, authentic, and aesthetically pleasing bakery/café with delicious treats, beverages and all sorts pastries, breads, cinnamon buns, cakes, ect.! Very reasonably priced. Organic and Fair Trade.

If you go to the Forks , this bakery is a must try place. Once you go there, definitely order their cinnamon bun because it is one of the most classic spot-on cinnamon bun you will have. I usually will bring it home and toast the cinnamon bun, and it ... is a real special treat. Read more
