I you're one of those people who walks into a David's tea land loves smelling them and wishing you could buy them, don't. It's honestly so not worth it. I bet they spend way more money on the smell rather than the taste of their teas. They smell amazing, but ... I've yet try one that doesn't leave a gross after taste or just tastes like slightly tea flavored water. NOT. WORTH. THE. OUTRAGEOUS. PRICE. Overall this is a pretty great location. Just about any store in uptown Waterloo has a special charm to it. Specific to this store, they have a decent amount of seating making it a really great study spot (Free Wifi too). The staff are very knowledgeable and are excited to ... speak about tea which makes the experience very special. However recently I was served by a woman who was very dry, a tad rude and did not seem to be very excited to speak about tea. This kind of took away from the experience. Firstly, I need to say how I love the teas at Davids Tea. The aromas in the store are phenomenal. I have purchased a teapot here about two years ago.My teapot doesn't get used every day, but it does get a good workout especially with the cooler weather coming on ... again. My seal on the underside of the lid, had been nicked by much use, and was so delighted when the girl in the store replaced my seal for FREE. Many thanks, I shall be able to once again, Enjoy.
