amazing local japanese foods store. fresh made sushi and other dishes everyday! snack and drink options are vast. the staff are very productive.
The rice is dry it's over priced the portions are small. They became cheap with their portions and increased the price after adding skip and it was already subpar at best. They also keep their sushi over night and don't mark it down. I've gone and had stale hard rice in ... the morning and paid full price garenteed it was made same day. It was not. Also their rice is starchy. Do they even wash it? Anyone else notice that? Save you money and for snacks go across the road to fairways. Lots are available there for cheaper or the same price. Edit: they also stop making stuff at weird hours and sometimes will have empty food area. It's not the business it use to be and it shows to anyone who's been a regular. Read more
I love how affordable Fujiya is! I have been going here since I was little with my family and their sushi rolls and bowls do not disappoint. I love their takoyaki, fried oysters and tempura! Their little poke cup is also really yummy so if you ever see it try ... it! They also have bento lunch sets and it comes with a little bit of different items. I also really like their selection of grocery items here too! It does get busy so make sure you come early if you want to get bowls, bentos or certain items! Read more
Always affordable pricing on their sushi and fresh foods. Good spot to get cheap quality food. Lately they seem to be making more food even later in the day, which is great for picking up on the way home after work or school (3 pm ish). Previously they would run ... out relatively quick around this hour, but noticing an abundance of fresh still warm foods now during this time. There is still usually a good few choices in the fridge for sushi. Read more
The way they put the food out at the back feels so weird, like it’s a vulture section. Decent food tho and not *too* expensive, but also not cheap for what it is. The vibe at this Fujiya is always uptight. Super weird place and always closed when you want to go there, ... lol. I crave their negitoro bowl and takoyaki. It’s take out only. Read more
