Shater Abbas Restaurant - Vaughan, Ontario

Came here for dinner with my Persian family a few months ago and we had a great time. The food was delicious, staff were kind and service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Glad didn’t go with the bad reviews as this place needs to be 4.5 at the minimum. The staff is so respectful and polite and were a delight throughout our dining experience. Now the most important aspect is the food, it was incredibly fresh and flavourful. We got Combination of 4 ... skewers of kebabs: beef tenderloin, chicken breast, two skewers of ground beef, two saffron basmati rice plus another koobideh kebob with cucumber yogurt. Edited: Sadly I was informed recently that its not Halal.. i asked the waitress and she assured me it was halal before we dined but a few weeks later I was told by Iranian friends that went after us that asked and tgey were told it wasn’t halal. Yummy Persian ... food. I like the Fesenjan the most. My sister in law loved the Kashkeh Badenjan. My neices and nephew like the Baghali Polo. We also got platter2 which had kabab, berg and jojeh kabab but I was too full I didn't try it. Read more

We recently visited the Shatter Abbas in Thornhill, Despite the peak hours, the attendant efficiently secured a table for us, making our wait comfortable. Our journey began with the Chicken Barley Soup – each barley pearl was a burst of flavor, with that slight sour twist that took it to ... another level. For the main course, we opted for Platter a combination of 9 skewers featuring beef tenderloin, chicken leg, chicken breast, shishlik (lamb rack), and five skewers of ground beef. Served with saffron basmati rice and the local Persian yogurt drink 'dough,' buttermilk. every dish was cooked to perfection, but the real star was the shishlik (lamb chops) not too dry, not too chewy, just juicy goodness. Poor quality food besides poor management! This restaurant used to be known for its great quality and tasty Kababs. However nowadays not worth spending any money. All of our dishes cane with burnt kababs, bbq tomato was stale and onions were old and smelly
