I was surprised that the place was spacious and clean, yet the pricing was very reasonable. However, I found the portion sizes to be quite small compared to many other restaurants here. We ordered 'Seafood Laksa,' 'Roti Prata,' and 'Mee Siam.' Personally, I thought the Laksa could have been richer, and I ... didn't like that the soup was served lukewarm. The Roti was good, and the size was pretty large. Mee Siam was a dish I had never tried before. It was sour and sweet, as described, but I couldn't find the spicy element in it. Could this dirty cup have come from an auto repair shop? The combination of dirt and something floating in the water was surreal. The service towards the customers was not to mention, unfriendly. When two of us went and said I would sit first until our other friend arrived, ... he made us wait at the entrance until our friend came. When we said we were ready to order, the waiter just handed us the menu and left without saying a word. Even when it came to paying the bill, he just gave us the card machine without saying anything about how the meal was. Whether it’s a waiter or the boss, he doesn’t seem fit to work in a restaurant. The food here is super flavorful and affordable! I enjoyed the roti and beef randang curry puffs. The calamansi drink was refreshing and light. I personally wasn't a fan of the mee Siam, but that's due to personal preferences. The deep fried chicken wings were crispy, but personally felt like ... it lacked a little flavor. I love everything about this place! It does feel like I’ve been transported across the Pacific Ocean and welcomed by a Singaporean family. They have a decently sized menu with some vegan options, and all the Singaporean classics. We went here on a Saturday evening and had to wait a bit, but ... not too long since we were only 2 and could be seated at the window bar. The food had us speechless with its amazing authentic flavour and nice portion sizes. The service was great, despite it being very busy! The food was served in a timely manner even though it was packed with customers waiting in line. They apologized to us for not being able to serve us much, but we were still very happy with the “minimal” service that we received. This is definitely a (semi) hidden gem that I will be repeatedly returning to. I can’t wait to try more of their menu! Read more

This small restaurant offers authentic and tasty Singaporean dishes at an affordable price. It is still a relatively young, newly opened place as I believe they opened only 2-3 years ago. The restaurant is served sort of like a canteen - order, pay first and then they will bring the food up ... to your table. A hidden gem in my opinion, come give them a try, you will not regret it!
