Live BC spot prawns cooked on the spot without additional cost for cooking. I requested for 45-second parboil and the staff obliged - perfectly done! Nice outdoor seating area. New extension unit 1805 offering lobster and crab rolls. We have the signature lobster roll. Perfect - soft brioche, condiments (mayo, ... celery, parsley) did not distract from the natural sweetness of the lobster. Read more
Stopped by to try the signature and it was fresh and very clean. The butter toasted bread was also a fun surprise with really good texture. The lobster was sweet and flavorful and the chopped celery was a great refresher amidst the mayo. Slice of lemon added to the crispness.
Order the crab roll, the crab meat tastes good. The sauce and crab and the bun mixed well together. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try the chips before the crow took the whole box with chips in it 😄. The owner was gonna give me some ... new chips, but I took a can of coke instead. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Must visit! Not local to Vancouver, we came here 3 times in 3 days. You can’t get fresher seafood anywhere else - they’re still live in tanks. We tried spot prawns raw (sashimi style) and cooked (boiled) - no sauce needed, great flavour, meaty with excellent lobster-like texture. ... We also got clams - truly the best I’ve ever had.
