My favourite tacos were the Barbacoa Beef Brisket and the Spiced Ground Pork which were paired perfectly with the House-made Iced Tea and Mexican Coca-Cola. I had the fried chicken burrito which was really good and fresh. We sat at the bar. The staff were really friendly and warm to us. Really cool spot! They even had some samples of newer local drinks which I think they do on Fridays. The vibe and food felt like being on vacation--it maybe helped that it was sunny and warm out. The beef brisket taco was really good, and the buttermilk chicken was solid ... as well. Their homemade habanero hot sauce made my face sweat beautifully. They do have more mild hot sauces if you're not a fan of those endorphins. Will definitely be back! Read more

Burritos were great. Better than Taco Shack which used to operate nearby and is now within the Vera's. I ordered take out and it took over 30 mins, but they were very apologetic and offered compensation in the form of a gift card. Very nice gesture. Certainly saved me as a ... customer. Read more

Lot of religious art pieces around, bar like vibe and decor. Relatively busy during our visit on a Monday evening. Food is OK, does have vegetarian options - beans, cauliflower and cheese dishes.
