place use to be good but now, tempura is soggy, batter is hard and shrimp is tasteless . Chirashi is awful too, rice has no favor, fish is so thin and and taste so bad . need to throw away

I usually really like ordering their party tray for delivery on skip, however the most recent purchase for their sunomono was absolutely atrocious. For some reason it was SO SALTY, it burned my throat after one bite and it was straight up inedible. Unfortunately I hate writing reviews like this ... since sunomono is my fav food it’ll take me a LOT to not eat it, however this is completely unacceptable. Still will order their sushi platter tho since it’s cheap and I have low standards. Also, check out the photo for their Philadelphia roll, which is supposed to contain cream cheese. About as low quality as they come for sushi in this city. It is a bit cheaper than average, but oh boy is the quality way below average. I'll called the restaurant about the quality and their answer was "we were busy and rushed all orders" the result was anemic ... sushi rolls that were not rounds, squished in a box so you could tell any rolls apart. Ordered yam tempura, beef teriyaki, and spring rolls via UberEats. I don’t mind receiving food cold because that’s an easy fix. What I do find is paying $30 for very bad quality food. The yam tempura was a tasteless and some piece were over/under battered, some pieces were hard because ... they hadn’t been cooked though. The spring rolls were pretty much empty from the inside, they looked pale and unappetizing. The beef teriyaki was soggy and didn’t look good.
