Beautiful place for branch right by the water. I’ve been here many times and always great. Dog friendly patio is perfect too!

Great place to grab not just gelato but also other dishes. Amazing view at the harbour. The waiter who greeted us at the door was very friendly and attentive. Our experience at the place was very good until we went inside to get some gelato. The counter staffs, especially the female one ... who scooped gelato, were not very nice. She barely smiled and looks like she was annoyed at us. Probably we cut the line, but that was because we did not know where to start. There were 2 entrances and we were confused. I saw two people paying so I thought we ordered right at the machine. We were both new here, so I believe a little guidance would not waste that much of her time. She was not enthusiastic to suggest us the flavour. She stared at us and waited us to tell her to let us try flavors. My mood went down 2-3 levels because of her negative attitude. Gelato was quite pricey, about $7/ cone before tax. However, the flavour was amazing and the portion was very generous. Don’t try the flavour which has Himalayan pink salts; it tasted weird, in a bad way. At the end, I gave them tips anyways since the guy we met at first was very very nice. I know they split the tips at end but still hope that most of my tips go to him, not that grumpy staff behind the counter. Overall, quite disappointed at the customer service. I had great expectation since an Italian friend recommended this place, and she said their gelato was better than gelato in Italy. I personally have never been to Italy, so I cannot compare. The views from the patio here are amazing. The food was good but not as good as I had hoped. The pizza was all burnt on the bottom. We didn't have any gelato but I'll definitely try it out sometime.

I'd actually like to give this a 3.5 star rating. I had heard that Bella was no longer there and under new ownership, so I wanted to give it another try! My friend and I ordered the Cannlicious Bruch Pizza with a fried egg, Italian Sausage with the sun dried tomato ... pesto with Arugula and I was very impressed! I was a little hesitant with an egg on my pizza, but I was surprised! We also had the Insalata Caprese Salad. The flavors were simple and non complicated! There is definitely room for improvement with service.... I think the entire time that my friend and I went, the waitress only came 1 time, and that was because I asked for more water.
