Truck Stop Cafe - Vancouver, British Columbia

You all know what the food is like. Interior has that hipster before hipster beards vibe with plenty of retro colour and comfort. You can even peruse the local newspaper here if you remember what they are.

East Vancouver's own Truck Stop Cafe is a great place for breakfast all day or a plentiful burger. A mainstay of Clark Street and Truckers for years. Great service and clean.

Great home style breakfast place, HWY diner atmosphere. Very inexpensive but delicious breakfast place.

Classic, original, delicious! The well-oiled machine in action is as genuine and effective as the triplex Hamilton-Beach milk-shake maker on the Formica counter-top. Burgers, sandwiches, house soup. I could go on but now I have to dash out for a meal there, Yummerific!

Saw an article about this place online so decided to come in and try. Glad we did! Walked in just after 9am when they opened on Sat. Bright, cheerful and immaculate. Greeted right away by the server. We were the first to arrive. Fast friendly service the entire visit. ... Several others arrived while we were eating, I suspect some were regulars. Speed of service was very good. Quality of the food was 5 star. I had the Truckers Omelet and my wife had the French Special. The serving sizes were great for the very reasonable price. Little details like the speed of refills and polite demeanor stand out for me. I will have to visit again to try lunch sometime. Give this place a try! Read more
