Disappointing flavour. There is nothing caribbean about this cooking. I wanted to like this place, I had it saved on my list for a long time. Its a kind of fusion between cajun and carribbean. I respect the hustle of the owners who have been at it for many years ... but if people are waiting over an hour for a simple dish then you need to hire some help in the kitchen. Over 30 minutes before we received an ordered coffee. Oxtail didn't have the distinct flavour and it came with no sauce, curry chicken although cooked perfectly had no real flavour just heat from habaneros. Read more

The food is amazing! Jerk chicken is soft and the favor is sooooooo goooodd 🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ about the service I feeling welcoming and cheerful. highly recommend!! Definitely will coming back :)

Let me say I am a picky eater and I do review often. I just moved to Mount Pleasant neighborhood and I am extremely lucky to have this GEM in the corner of my new place. Owners runs this place. Food is served and cooked as if You were a guest ... on their home and portions are HUGE and prices are honestly 👌. Heard so much about this little restaurant so decided to give it a try. Called ahead to order and was able to pick up at the scheduled time. We got the Oxtail Stew and large Jerk Chicken. First time trying Caribbean food so didn’t know what to expect. Both were ... spicy but not painful. The chicken and beef were fall off the bone tender. The portions were very generous and prices were affordable. The owner was very nice and gave us a free Jamaican patty. A neighborhood gem. Read more

Nice owners. I ordered for take out the oxtail stew and curried chicken which come with rice and beans and cornbread. Food is really good. Spice level is present without being painful. Huge quantities and she still gave me extra Jamaican patties because it was the end of the day. I ... will come back again with my Jamaican food loving friend. This is the real deal and great value.
