Photos are deceptive - there’s a reason why the main photos of the hotel not photos of the rooms. The hotel lobby is a sad place to be, the rooms are tiny and everything is old and dated. The sink was clogged. Valet sometimes took ages to get the car. ... Some service people were nice and friendly. Worst experience ever. Checked in with the information that the shuttle service is not working. Came to room tv was out of order and room was out of order too. We had to go up and down to because the phone was not working. The room was not set ... up for 4 people as we booked it for four. In the morning, at the breakfast table, it took ages to serve orange juice. Didn't have vegetarian options. One of the staff members agreed to replace a few things, and there was no veg sausage. We are not vegan, only vegetarian and okay with milk products. However, due to allergies cannot have fish or egg. We had to wait for ages to get food. It seemed like the serving and the kitchen staff did not like our race or turbans. They were serving other customers, but they just ignored us. We were sitting with kids, and I had to go to one of the staff members and ask how long it would take to serve orange juice. After that, they served orange juice and served latte, coffee ☕️, and warm, and they should be hot before serving the main food. Hash browns tots were cold, and bread was full of oil, hard and dry. Recently stayed at the Parker Hotel for 4-nights and had a great experience! Wagner was wonderful and drove us to dinner twice using the town car. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and even offered for us to call him to pick us up as we were having dinner ... near East Hastings. Overall, very happy with this experience! Read more

Nice hotel with very attentive staff. Rates were reasonable for a downtown hotel. Very good location close to the Granville Bridge/Island, downtown access for all the things, and far enough outside the very center of Metro Van to be a little quieter for city noise. Would stay again.

We had a terrific time at the Parker. Staff were truly friendly and Kitti was such a pleasant face to come back to. The room was very comfortable and the beds were truly perfect.
