One of the worst experiences with a food catering services I have experienced. We just had a lunch and learn in our office. The vendor hired this catering company to deliver the food. The food was supposed to come 11:45a. The food showed up at 1:30pm. Not only that the food ... was very bland, they misprinted my dairy free sandwich label. The ingredients said it contained cheddar. Also the can of sparkling water was very dirty. Also when the server was taking the wrapper out of the serving dish, one of the sandwiches felt onto the table and server grabbed with his bare hands and put in the serving dish again. It took us a long time to find a catering service that worked for our needs and believe me, I wish we found The Butler Did It sooner. The setup was easy, for the first time before an event we didn't feel like we need to rush or do anything. ... The staff showed up on time and set-up early. We had a medium sized event of 95 people and the night was seamless. Pamela's planning and the staff that ran the event did a stellar job. The food was delicious and our guests had an amazing time. The Butler Did It catered my wedding. The food was delicious and the meats were cooked on-site (which our guests loved). They were very easy to work with and organized themselves in a way which supported the flow of the wedding, and included some beautiful driftwood other decor. Sara and ... Greg were very professional and amiable, as well as the other staff there that day; they led us to try the buffet first, and kept tabs on the guests and supported me in running the evening! There was a few issues during the planning process - our wedding was passed between a few of the event planners - but in the end, they were thorough, considerate and again, very professional! The Butler Did It catered my wedding reception back in June, 2014. It was my first choice and a bit of a short notice. It was a relief when I met with Jill, the coordinator, as she helped me get organized immediately and was so helpful with the little details - ... amount of wine, color of table cloths, and day of setup etc. She had experience with my venue, the UBC Boathouse, so it was great that she already knew what the set-up would be like. The day of the reception went off without any hitches. The servers were extremely professional and courteous. My guests enjoyed the food and many told me the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful day and no doubt a lot of credit goes to the catering and the servers who helped make the event run smoothly. We had a great experience with Butler Did It. We hired them for our wedding reception and were impressed through the whole process. They were professional, helpful and the food was amazing and presented well. Jill - Events Coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She saw our ... vision for our event and took care to make sure all the details were taken care of, so as the bride I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. They set up the room and did a lovely job of the buffet table. The food was delicious and I received many compliments on the taste and the presentation. Everything was done with class. The staff was great, making sure food was served on time and hot. The girls who stayed to the end were very helpful in getting us out of the room on time as well, so compliments to them.
