Mink Chocolates - Vancouver, British Columbia

We came to this store purely based on the street signage. I love a little humour with my coffee and chocolate! Beautiful store with an overwhelming amount of chocolate, and just a delightful smell when you first walk into the store 🥰

I stayed at The Auberge and fell in luv with the complimentary squares of chocolate in my room. When I was on my way to Canada Place and realized Minks was just around the corner from where I was staying - I couldn't resist stopping in for a coffee. ... The smell in this cafe is amazing and my coffee was easily one of the best I have ever had. The staff member that took care of me was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. If I'm ever in Vancouver again you will absolutely find me at Minks and The Auberge because both places were 5/5 experiences. Read more

Update: 22:16 Sunday Jan14, The owner requested that I remove the photo I had uploaded featuring the staff. I complied, deleting it and uploading an edited version. The owner is aware of the particular staff member who provided poor service to my daughter and me. Will they take action? Probably not. ... Will I return to that place? Definitely not. Despite being regular customers, my daughter and I will not be going back due to the unpleasant experience with that staff member. Original review: My daughter and I rushed to get here (Hastings Downtown location) before they closed at 5pm on a Sunday. Looking forward to the Hot Chocolate Festival specials they got. Made it at 4:35pm. Ordered and last told us she can't serve us the special anymore since it was half hour until closing. I'm like what? It's a long time from now. What's the difference? We came all the way here for that and she denied us the special drink. She looked really unhappy and unenthusiastic to serve us. So disappointed! No customer service skills at all! Mink Chocolates Cafe is located in a great location right near the waterfront. They serve a variety of chocolate beverages as well as they have chocolates for purchase. It took a while for me to order my drink because the ladies in front of me were picking eating chocolates and ... there was only one man working behind the counter. I ordered the iced chocolate and sat outside to drink it. The iced chocolate was very average, more milk than chocolate. It was more of a milk shake than an iced chocolate and it was quite disappointing. There are seatings both within and outside of the cafe. Read more

What an amazing place! The perfect combination of coffee, chocolate and humour! This place really made my whole day better with their yummy coffee and warm smiles and service. Highly recommend.
