JJ Bean on this location is really in vintage style, coffee is well roasted with rich taste and almond croissants are delicious 👌🏼 Perfect spot with patio for spring. Overall I really enjoyed this place and recommend to everyone who are looking good coffee and are in that area.

This place in heart of East Van is a great atmosphere. They have no wifi which makes it different from others and you see more customers in interactions than on a laptop. The coffee roaster is also cool to see in person.

You would be able to randomly pick any muffin or wrap and be satisfied. Their food in general is pretty good. The only exception is the gluten-free muffin.

I ordered my usual hot chocolate which wasn't hot at all. I also got chocolate croissant, it wasn't anything special, very average. My wife ordered a wrap sandwich but ate less than 1/3 of it, it was full of rice with very blend taste. We liked the location, staff were ... friendly.
