Jitters Cafe is the absolute best! Emily, wearing her charming Bahamas T-shirt and with gems in her hair, delivers such magical service with her incredible smile that she's solidified us into being lifelong regulars.

Come here for the atmosphere. I like to read or write here. No laptops allowed. Makes for a quiet spot, in a good way. They use Ily coffee, which if you’re a fan, you’ll seek this place out.

I came in here to do a little work on my laptop when I was told this was a no laptop place. That's great, but I certainly wished I knew that before I spent $6 on parking and another $4 on a drink since it's not something that shows up ... when searching for coffee on Google maps. I guess they think it ruins the atmosphere and prevents people from talking to each other(?) But apparently it's perfectly acceptable to just sit here on my phone writing this review instead. Just seems like an arbitrary rule to seem kitschy. Great espresso and music though, the barista was also very nice. Read more

Pretty good cozy and unique atmosphere, but not great service or drinks. The person working there when I arrived wasn’t super welcoming. Ordered ham & cheese croissant and London fog - both took a while despite no one else being there - the croissant was good, but the London fog was ... weirdly separated into two layers, too sweet, and served very hot it a water glass with no handle (so I couldn’t even pick it up without almost burning myself for a few minutes). They also have a no wifi/no laptops policy as well as certain tables reserved for groups only. This wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing on its own, but in general the vibe was not very welcoming - made me feel like I was intruding, and worried what other rules I might be breaking without knowing. Love this place!! The owner and the team there are just the sweetest, always so friendly. The food is honestly some of the best on the 4th ave strip with quality ingredients. The sandwiches are always SO GOOD and today I tried a smoothie - so refreshing and Juicy! A ... laptop free environment so you'll see the casual readers, groups engaged in hearty conversation, and a playlist ranging from classic rock, feel good favourites and some indie alt goodness.
