Located on the ground floor of the Law Society of British Columbia, this cafe is "disguised" as a top notch curry outpost. They serve up to 6 different curries daily, both meat and vegetarian options. A real gem of a spot for authentic East Indian curry. They also serve one ... of the best chai teas in the downtown peninsula. I usually opt for the 2 curry combo served with basmati rice and naan. Chicken curry. Great authentic curry for a great price. Always long lines so show up early! They also have butter chicken curry and lamb curry.
The curry is so delicious! The Aloo Gobi only available on Wednesdays is my favorite! It is a food court so I brought my own container there, the food fits perfectly!
Neat cafeteria style cafe opened for breakfast and lunch. Located on the ground floor of the Law Society of BC (hence the play on words). They close mid afternoon so not the place for dinner. Prices are reasonable, food is consistently good. It's more than a coffee ... shop - it's evolved into a local lunch favourite from indications from friends. My favourite butter chicken! It’s so unexpected from the outside but it has the tastiest butter chicken here. So good, I’ve never tried anything else on the menu lol. They close early on weekdays and closed on weekends so check the hours before you come.
