Small little bubble tea shop along broadway. The presentation of the lychee paradise drink was really pretty, I just wish it tasted more like lychee rather than lemon.

I loved coming here. It is very clean and sanitary. There was a tall girl and shorter girl with darker hair and they were so nice and friendly when I came. I am a creature of habit and wasn’t sure what drink to get but they were so knowledgeable and ... helpful in suggesting me a new drink to try. I would recommend the fresh taro with oat milk. Baroness is great - I come here all the time! The bubble tea always tastes fresh, the pearls are always the right texture, and the employees are always friendly and nice. Plus, they have a discount for UBC students which is a HUGE plus!! I personally recommend the Thai style ... or anything from the brown sugar series, but their cheese foam is seriously the best in town. Great bubble tea. It’s a bit on the sweet side so I would recommend 30% sweetness. The oolong and earl gray was amazing.

I got the black tea with brown sugar pearls. It was really good, the pearls are a little softer than other places. I personally prefer firmer pearls but the softer ones were still good.
