CooCoo Coffee - Vancouver, British Columbia

This is our favorite coffee stop if we come to Vancouver. The coffee is good!!! Worth coming here and a nice park nearby to relax in with a dog park. They are dog friendly here too. Great place.

Actually went to a place across the street first but it was so busy that after sitting down and being ignored, I came here. The food options are wraps and baked goods but if that’s all you need, you are set. I had a Vietnamese iced coffee and it was ... great. I often find they are bitter or too sweet but this one was great. They also use rice straws which should be the gold standard vs paper ones that turns to sludge part way through. The straw maintained its use the whole time (weird that this even needs mentioning but here we are). I ordered a wrap with cheese, egg and spicy sausage, it was also lovely. Loved this coffee shop with outdoor seating! It was very nice to come to on a quiet Sunday morning. Also absolutely adored their wall with doggo photos! Such a positive vibe!

This location is not a friendly location. They also do not accommodate disability. I asked the lady what kind of coffee she had. I explained to her that I could not read the menu. She did not offer a hand held menu so I could get the menu closer. I ... explained I didn’t have my glasses. She was rude, she was a bully. She was very fitting to the name. She was certainly a real coo coo. Was she coo coo for coco puffs? Perhaps she was. I would recommend another coffee place down the street at Seymour and Davie. It’s a similar type feel, unlike this coo coo for coco puffs place you can find similar foods at a similar price only the staff here are much more friendly and not so coo coo. I didn’t even order from that coo coo lady. Won’t go back. I’m doing physio right now and she could have had a regular customer but I won’t spend my hard earned money at a place where they treat people rudely and in an undignified manner.
