Updated Review: After many years following the experience below, the Missus and I decided to give Yu Ki another try. We found our BBQ meats to be very cold and the rice just lukewarm. Some of the duck was barely cooked. This was in addition to the server with an ... attitude that she didn't want to be there. We overheard an identifed regular customer bickering over an additional charge of twenty five cents for sweet soy sauce. We will skip Yu Ki on our next BBQ craving. ******************************************************* The missus and I used to love this restaurant. We liked their BBQ meat dishes. My missus' favorite was the BBQ duck with rice noodle soup. It's her go to dish. I liked the roast pork on rice. The service at this establishment is terrible and in particular there is one waitress. We liked the food so we put up with it. However, on the last occasion as I was cashing out, I tipped them $1.80 on a $20 bill. The rude waitress said "no tip" implying it was not enough. I thought good service = a higher tip and evidently this waitress thinks tips are mandatory. I thought I was overly generous in giving what I did. We left the restaurant and vowed to never return again as there are other choices with the many eateries in the Vancouver area. Read more
A place which is close to our neighbourhood is perfect for quick meal. Portion is big with reasonable price. Roasted crispy skin pork is our favourite dish. Soy sauce chicken is not bad either. Hygiene to be improved.
I was taken to a new (to me) Chinese restaurant for bbq duck noodle soup. The duck is not over-salted or greasy at all and even has crispy skin - what a nice surprise! Unfortunately, the Lai fun (rice vermicelli noodles) were too soft, not al dente like I prefer. ... The veggies are fresh and not over-cooked and the broth was very tasty, though. I also had a taste of the crispy skin pork - the skin has a nice crunch, but it’s very salty! I’d definitely return for the duck. Read more
If you want something quick, tasty, reasonably priced and also pickup something for later, this is your place! Mainly serving HK Style BBQ Meats, their cooked items are also very reliably tasty, standard and quality has always been good and very steady, my personal fav is their BBQ Duck, often fresh ... roasted and the skin is always crispy and not fatty! Great item to take out as an addition to your meal or just as a snack! Don’t forget the plum sauce! Read more

Roasted pork has crispy skin and perfectly seasoned. Downside: I believe they use only pork belly (not the whole pig), so there are no lean cuts available. The BBQ pork is also tender and flavourful. The strip mall is a little obscure. The lady cashier who sells take out ... seem to be a character. I will be back though. Read more
