Yagger’s Kitsilano Restaurant - Vancouver, British Columbia

Where do I start. Yagger’s has been my go to watering hole, every Wednesday for the last year and a half or so. I’ve brought an array of people, all with the promise of the greatest wings they’ll eat in vancouver. I have never been told I’m wrong. I’ve seen ... menu changes, layout changes and full staff turnovers, for better and worse - Nikki is great and seems to be the one that serves us the most often. Very occasionally the wings seem to change? Typically I would go as far as saying Yaggers has some of the best gastropub/bar food you can get in Vancouver and it’s worth it’s price for sure, however the tacos are a miss for me and the occasional strange batch of wings. Good service, chicken wings were nice (all seasoning was good, Korean sauce was a bit too spicy, salt & pepper was mediocre), and beers were good too. Will come back for Wednesday chicken wings again.

Showed up without reservations for game 2 of the NBA finals. It was a packed house and they made accommodations to get us a seat at the bar to watch the game. The bartender was friendly, quick and recommended the burger. The burger was delicious and melted when you bit into ... it. We also got jerk wings which we thought were just okay. Friendly service, great people watching on the patio. Generous portions, home-style cooking. The apple slaw was a hearty side and the spicy cauliflower and artichokes are perfect for sharing. Nachos are good for 2-4.

This is a great bar with awesome food. They have like 10 TV-s or so, it's kinda annoying to socialize here if you don't want to focus 100% on a game.
