We have spent $1,675 since we started coming here on April 20th. Last night, I went to pay a large bill for the third week in a row, and had to deal with an unfamiliar female employee scowling at me and other customers, which I made clear I was not ... happy about. The service is usually subpar and lacking friendliness, but this interaction takes the cake. I've been trying to look past the fact that this place is generally a bit of a hole in the wall. I've been trying to look past the fact that the washroom is usually unkept and covered in graffiti. I've been trying to look past the fact that the music can be annoying and douchey at times. I've been trying to look past the fact that the customer base after 8pm can be rowdy and lacking class. But I will not tolerate or look past having some unhappy and unmotivated employee scowling at me when I go to pay a $300 bill. Would it really kill you to smile and make people feel welcome and appreciated? I get better service at just about every other place I spend money, and those transactions start at just $5. If this doesn't improve and fast, you won't continue to get our hard earned money, it's that simple. Read more

Soho, in my opinion, is the best pool hall in Vancouver. The ambience is nice, they play pretty good music and they're one of the very few places in Vancouver that are open till very late. There a lot of pool tables and extras like darts, foosball, pinball and an ... arcade game. They make really nice old fashioned and other cocktails. Decent selection of beers. And the best part of it all, amazing staff. The crowd here is generally friendly as well and people are quite willing to play pool with you if you go there alone as well. The food can improve a bit but it's still much better than a lot of other places. My favourite is their pizza. Read more

Enjoyed my visit to the pool bar in Yaletown! The vibe is great, with an inviting atmosphere perfect for a fun evening. The staff are friendly and provide good service, making sure you're well taken care of. There's a decent selection of drinks, something for everyone's taste. While the pool ... tables could use a bit of maintenance, it doesn't significantly detract from the overall experience. First of all, I have to acknowledge that the staff here are literally a life and soul of this place. If you go there over the weekend you’ll be greeted by a friendly and professional security officer at the door, further down the ramp, the bar is managed by wonderful ... ladies, always serving with a smile, fast and efficient, they ensure you have a wonderful time at this establishment. The atmosphere is generally relaxed and casual, you can anticipate to wait for a pool table for a while on weekends if you come in the evening, but once you got it, it’s yours till whatever time you can stay up! The bar serves tasty snacks like flatbread loaded with toppings, and my personal favourite- wings. And it’s decently priced, the money you save by dining/drinking/playing here can be confidently passed onto the staff as tips, because they sure do deserve it! Read more
