We went to Joey for a team lunch and booked a table for 11 people. Since we were short of one person, they added one chair and sat 3 strangers on our table. Mostly, they were friends with the waitress. The service was really bad since we had to wait about ... an hour for food which was definitely not worth the wait. Most of the team ordered steak and it was cooked more than what was ordered for. Our waitress Olivia E was excellent, attentive and friendly. Being a Friday night it was very busy but the room was large and spacious and you didn't feel restricted. The food was extremely good and served promptly.

Can’t cook steak correctly, my steak was well done when I ordered medium rare, i was kinda shy to say it too since 2 other person at our table had the same problem…and didn’t want to wait for an other one (also I don’t like to waste food so I ... still ate it) but how can’t a cook cannot cook steak, so disappointing, one of our friend she did returned her steak for a new one and they did offer her a dessert to make up for it…but me even tho I told the waitress my steak was not cook right she didn’t really care more for it when I told her that I prefer not to return it since I don’t like waisting food. Also our friend that asked for an other steak received it so late when we were all done with our plate…and it was still not good, still over cooked but she didn’t say anything because clearly it was a lost cause. Also the steak were coming full of spice it’s like they were making this to hide that the meat was bad because it had a greenish grey tint to it… I will never go back there. We went for a family meal, and not a single person said their meal was outstanding just subpar and over priced. They sat us at the round booth tables as they only had booster seats no highchairs that would work with the tall tables, making it hard for little ones. ... We ordered the sliders off the kids menu and the burgers were so overcooked our kiss wouldn't eat them. My husband ordered the baja fish tacos ($25) with a ceasar side salad upgrade. He said the tacos had a nice fresh flavor, but didn't like the radish or lime sauce. My mom ordered the oven roasted wild cod ($28.50) as the waitress said it was fresh caught and brought right from Port. The fish had a peanut coconut curry sauce that we ordered on the side which was good because it had quite a bit of heat to it and would have masked the taste of the fresh fish. I ordered the hand pressed burger ($21) without the fixings just the secret sauce and still was served it with everything, and the secret sauce was very minimal where you could hardly taste it. The burger was overcooked and tough. My dad ordered the Joey Prime New York strip ($100.25 with the lobster upgrade). The steak was not very tender, they didn't bring any butter for the lobster despite asking and it was not super hot. Overall, subpar experience and won't be back or visiting any additional ones within the chain. We felt the service was ok minus when my dad asked for ice water he got annoyed and when setting it on the table splashed the water not even apologizing or wiping it up. We wouldn't suggest this as a good steak restaurant or place to dine at. Read more
