Wow this is just incredible. We booked a room with breakfast for 650cad with breakfast for one night as we wanted to have a nice experience, but at the breakfast place they told us to wait to get a table with 1 year old kid half an hour without an ... option to leave and come back. This is just unacceptable. At the reception they told us than they will not reimburse us. We had to go somewhere to get the breakfast then. Never again and do not book this hotel at all. We booked the hotel for four people five days from the official website five months ago. The front desk said that our room is with good view. But what we see is not as he said. What’s worse, the hotel did not well prepare supplies for 4 ... people, such as bottle water, tea bags, and towels for guests who booked five months in advance. The location is centrally located within the city. The on-site taxis made transportation convenient to your desired destination. The only problem during our stay was the parking garage where a ticket for failure to pay was on our car. When contacted, the manager on duty promptly corrected the charge. I have been staying here since the late 90s and I love this hotel. It has good beds, always quiet, and great service. Its location is fantastic as you are surrounded by shops and restaurants that are all in walking distance. If all you want is room ... service, you will not be disappointed. The food that’s right on site is excellent. When I get back to Vancouver this is where I will stay. Read more

1) overall Service - Excellent! Quick responses, organized a complimentary birthday hamper in the room and upgraded to a stellar view room. 2) Housekeeping - is good too, timely service and fulfilled our requests. 3) Other features - underground parking, one of the best hotel gyms, nice pool and beautifully lit courtyard ... especially in the evenings. Lovely pieces of art in the lobby... Reduced stars mainly due to the sighting of an infestable bug (silverfish). Though they refunded 2 days of parking, finding this bug in the bathroom is non-negotiable especially in a 4 star establishment like Marriott who I've placed my loyalty in.
