My partner recommended this place for a little brunch. He had tried their food and service with a friend, and wanted to return for the cream pie! He ordered a banana chocolate cream pie which was very light and nice. And I had the pecan pie with cream on the ... side, the lovely lady asked if I wanted ice cream added but since I'm trying to watch my calories, I opted out. I must say that I really enjoyed it, I had it warm but took the leftovers home and tried it cold, and it's amazing both ways. It reminded me of a middle eastern desert called maamoul. Not too sweet, and very nice tasty flavours all in all. Their espresso was very nice and the house blend was smooth. They offered refills to keep it hot. If you're feeling like a nice cup of coffee with a sweet bite, amazing customer service and a quiet place on a very active street, it's definitely your place to go. We will be returning for sure! I would not recommend this place, at least not their chocolate items. See photo to see how crumbly each bite was. When asked about the dry + crumbly texture, the server said that’s just what happens to their chocolate options from having been refrigerated. It was honestly the driest cake I’ve ... ever had. So dry I had to ask for the strawberry compote for the cheesecake to make it taste decent. The raspberry layer tasted really fake too. I expected it to taste like the cheesecake’s strawberry compote. At the end of the night I wished I’d just gotten an entire cake at Safeway for $17 instead of spending $10 for one slice. Read more

I used to like this place a lot. But unfortunately lately they have changed. Before their apple pie was fresh and felt like it had real fruits. The one I had recently was basically supermarket quality and I believe they used canned pie filling :(

This place was quiet, clean, and not too busy. We had sticky toffee pudding, and strawberry cheesecake. The sticky toffee pudding was moist, and drenched in toffee sauce. The strawberry shortcake was crumbly, and served with strawberry sauce that was bursting with fresh flavor!
