I love this sushi place!!! I live quite close by and most often order food over the phone for pick up. My take away experience in a nutshell has been as follows: Great quality and tasty food, reasonable prices, timely and accurate order preparation and kind service. I have ... eaten inside a couple times and was very pleased with the service and food I received then to. I quite like the layout of their restaurant inside to. Food is standard for sushi, service is kind, but as another reviewer has mentioned, they can do no wrong. When our pizza sushi arrived it was generously covered in mayo, no problem for me, but my wife doesn't eat dairy so we let the lady know and I ate both of ... the pieces we ordered. 5-7 minutes later, our rainbow roll arrives, with a generous mayo topping. This time, we told them we would need a new one with no mayo since we had already told them she doesn't eat mayo. Her response was "rainbow rolls are always served with mayo and you need to tell us no mayo, sorry there is nothing I can do." (this is the first time I've ever encountered a rainbow roll with mayo on top, Google image search confirms this is not normal) After much back and forth, she agreed to take back the roll and to take it off of our bill, but they would not make another roll without mayo for us. We were ignored for the rest of our dining experience including no speaking to us while we paid the bill. I imagine that the next person to order a rainbow roll received the one we sent back. While we were dining, a man came in to eat, was seated, then ignored for 15 minutes or more before he finally got up and left. The lady had no idea. They could use another staff member for the dinner rush, but the way they acted tonight, It seems they are pinching pennies. We will not be back. Read more

Horrible! I ordered Philadelphia rolls through Just Eat and they gave me rolls with asparagus and no avocado. I told them I got the wrong order and they said "no that's how they're made. All our customers know this!" and yelled at me. I checked the menu again (both on ... the justeat website AND their own sushiwind website) and confirmed that no, there's no asparagus and there is supposed to be avocado and they got my order wrong. After asking for the right food or a refund they said "There's nothing we can do for you, talk to JustEat." So I called Just Eat, who has very friendly customer service, and they said they would call the restaurant. They said the restaurant was really unhelpful but they eventually got me a full refund, as long as I didn't eat any of the sushi. I said that was fine and apologizes that she had to talk to the restaurant. She told me the restaurant wants to come pick up the sushi from me, but it will take "three hours" because they're busy. So I'm now waiting with sushi back in the bag as it gets warm and old. I don't know what they're serving people but I hope it's not this. Disgusting! Read more

I ordered deep fried california roll and box for delivery. It was great. I wanna go there and dine in next time.

This is the first sushi place I went to when I moved to Vancouver, and it is still my favourite. I thought that coming from Alberta I maybe had low sushi standards and I would quickly find a better place, but a year and a half later I still love ... it. The plain old tuna maki gets me every time. It has a nice atmosphere, it's not super fancy but it's nice, and is usually quite when I go there (usually around 1 or 2). Their lunch specials are awesome and really cheap. They also have really quick delivery service which I have used a few times. Read more
