Been to Sandy La for late night Chinese da lang (available after 9:00pm). They're open daily to 2:00am. Late night menu has 133 options ($10.95 to $16.95). Free plain congee when you spend $35.00. Cash only. - Plain congee - thin, watered down jouk. - Beef brisket with rice flour roll in ... hot pot ($14.95) - best of the dishes. Saucy rice rolls and beef brisket hit the spot. - Bean leaves with garlic sauce ($14.95) - pea tips were plain but good. - Clams in Hong Kong style spicy sauce ($14.95) - meagre portion of clams. - Deep fried squid with salt peppery ($13.95) - tiny portion. Batter wasn’t great. - Shredded beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce ($13.95) - onions were nicely sautéed. - Beef with soya sauce rice noodle ($13.95) - Hai nam style ranch chicken ($12.95) - Hainanese chicken was on the small side. - Deep fried chicken wings with peppery salt ($12.95) - surprisingly good with hot peppers. - Pan fried spicy string beans ($12.95) - dry. - Sweet & sour pork with pineapple ($12.95) Okay eats but not a great deal anymore.
