Had a late lunch with my wife, ordering their new lunch combo offerings. Well Priced and generous in portions, this is great value in today’s inflated prices. Busy spot for good reason! Luckily it’s a fairly big restaurant so we didn’t have to wait long. Lots of menu options, we tried their crispy pata, pork sisig, palabok and garlic rice! Food was great and tasted wonderful. We ordered a bunch of food to share, Oxtail Kare Kare, binagoongang baboy and crispy Pata. Bit pricey but I guess you pay for the quality. Authentic Filipino food. You can tell by all the Tagalog being spoken at the restaurant and the familiarity of the restaurant personnel with the patrons. We went on a Sunday for lunch and the place was packed. Luckily they had two sections of the restaurant so we were still seated ... quickly as we entered. We ordered the pork sisig, the squid, the garlic rice, and the Java rice. The squid came in different sizes (small, medium, large), but the sizing they give you depends on what they have at the restaurant. The food came out within 20 minutes and it looked very homey. Taste was authentic and the food was very filling. Price came out to $60 with tax and tips for 2 main dishes and 2 rice. Street parking only and beware of areas that require you to have a permit. Being married to a Filipino for 23 years and counting, I have a good grasp on what the food should taste like. Just walk in, and it smells just right. The food is very good and the portions are generous. They have an excellent selection of seafood and other Filipino favourites. The ... building and its fittings are a little tired, but the rest of the experience is first class. For authentic Filipino food, you be hard pressed to find anything better. Highly recommended.
