Kyle’s Cafe - Vancouver, British Columbia

I go to Kyle’s every couple weeks, this place is great. I always get Chinese food but their diner food looks good too. Really friendly staff. I recommend curry beef brisket on rice

It’s a lovely restaurant that is never too busy. But ALWAYS provides top notch meals. We’ve been going there easily for 8+ years now and haven’t regretted it once!

The restaurant definitely feels like a blast from the past, it kinda smells like commercial so cigarettes and weed which is not my favourite and it's kinda drafty but it adds to the experience and me and my friends are kinda crazy so 5 stars. The food is also decent, ... they have a big variety and it's pretty good. Overall I think it's a fun experience to come with friends. I really like their deep fried prawns. Came to this cafe while waiting for my motorcycle tires to be installed at Modern. Ordered the bacon tomato benny and it was pretty good. I asked for water and the cup it came in had some weird dirty thing inside the cup so I had to exchange for another one. ... That was a bit off putting considering the water came before the meal. Everything in the store was quite outdated. Chairs were ripped with holes. You can't expect too much. Overall, the food was decent and if there's nothing open at 9:30am, I may come back. Read more

Friendly service, good variety of food. Ordered a black pepper beef noodle and the cod and tofu in pot. The noodle was well done, flavorful and lots of meat and veggies. There were both crispy and soft noodles. The cod was in a thick batter that was spongy and didn't have ... much fish taste. I didn't like this one very much. A good place to have decent Chinese food in this area. We asked for less salt and oil in both dishes and they paid attention to our requests. Cash only. Read more
