Despite an unfortunate mishap with my order through Uber Eats, where I received only my banh mi and was missing the rest of my meal, Mr. ... Pham went above and beyond to rectify the situation. While Uber Eats was unable to provide a refund, Mr. Pham, out of his compassionate and kind-hearted nature, took it upon himself to reimburse me for the entire meal. I tried this Bánh bò today for $14.75 and wow was it ever dry, hard and overcooked. There was no pandan flavour to it. The lady staff did tell me it was made yesterday after i asked her. My mistake. It's a reminder that i should never buy day old ... stuff that isnt wrapped properly before it's being put out for sale. The description says Stir fried with pork belly. However, there’s not a thin slice of pork belly in it. I thought it was at the bottom of the container but nothing… I’m beyond disappointed as I’m very excited to try. I would never order from here again.

A really nice place to visit in the Kingsway area is this deli. The service was friendly, and the special Vietnamese sub is worth it. The only thing I would like to see more of is more pate spread in the sub but overall I’d come back again and ... try other ones! The shrimp rice roll/cake we got was nice and had good flavours!
