Got Pho? Thien Kim Vietnamese Restaurant - Vancouver, British Columbia

Google maps is such a great resource! We went to the Trout Lake Farmers' Market and decided to go for lunch. Being unfamiliar with the neighbourhood we searched nearby restauants rated 4.5 and Got Pho Thiem Kin popped up. Just a two minute drive away. Upon entering ... we were greeted and shown to a table. Very friendly staff. The restaurant was full, always a good sign. We ordered a shrimp salad roll to start and 3 vermicelli bowls, No. 26 Spring roll on vermicalli with lemongrass chicken and 2X No 28 Springroll, grilled prawn and lemongrass chicken on vermicelli. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. A little chili oil added a nice degree of spiciness to the spring roll and chicken. Portion sizes were generous. I decided to give this pho restaurant a try since I work close by. Excellent and fast service, authentic pho, and had my “favourite” Thai red chilli peppers! I will definitely be back.

Highly recommend. They have regional cuisine. Definitely not generic Vietnamese like other places. If you're looking for spice, they got it.

Have come here a few times and each time was good service, quality food with decent portions. We both accidentally ordered the wrong bowl of pho but we were happy with trying something different since it didn’t skimp out on the beef portions we originally wanted. Normally not a fan ... of beef balls but this was actually quite tasty. The young server has been there a while and is always greeting with a smile and bantering with customers. HIDDEN GEM 💎 really flavorful and delicious broth! Small size is $12.50 and large is $13.50. I got the small size Rare beef, tendon, and tripe; it was super filling. They also have all sorts of spices and sauces for each table. The spring roll was crispy and tasty. Lots of customers ... on a Saturday evening. The place is no-frills and down-to-earth.
