Deer Garden Signatures - Vancouver, British Columbia

Had an order of their signature roasted rice that unfortunately missed the mark but perhaps their specialty lies in noodle soups so I'll most likely try that next.

I've come to Deer Garden many times over the past ~10 years and the experience has been fairly consistent, albeit with increasing prices. I try to bring my own takeout containers because I never finish my soup and they charge for containers. Like many other HK places it is cash or ... debit only and you will have a better experience if you are not afraid to flag down the employees for service. I had the Malaysian curry beef brisket with rice. The curry sauce was very rich and the xo sauce was delicious. The Hong Kong style milk tea really brought m eback too and it was very enjoyable.

Noodle soup was very warming and comforting to the soul. Workers and staff members were very polite and on top of their duties as service was impeccable and fast. I definitely recommend trying the noodle soup as the prices are fairly priced and affordable. You get a customizable noodle soup ... with a drink of your choice for only $16.25. Curry beef tender, sauce creamy with heat. (9/10) Fish noodle soup tasty but with restrained toppings. (7.5/10) Chinese sausage with cured meats okay, not the expected claypot baked with sauced rice. (7/10)
