The food is ok, the drinks are precisely measured, and the physical space is decent. Tonights bar staff was nice enough to let me charge my phone, but not observant enough to notice how empty my drink was. I had to catch the bartender in passing to ask for another. Its ... cool that the staff hangs out and are all friends, but not when it comes at the cost of customer service. It was a game night tonight, so all of the eateries and pubs were packed in the Granville entertainment corridor. We ended up at G Sports Bar & Grill because it was the only place that could accommodate our party of 12 since it was nearly empty. We should have ... taken that as a warning sign. After we'd all sat down, ordered and received everything we were informed that for a party our size they do not separate the bills. Seriously?! So, one of our party ended up graciously covering the entire cost and we all will have paid them our portion. Especially annoying was the fact that they charged us for at least one thing that no one even had and it was almost impossible to figure out who had what, especially since some of the party had left before the bill arrived. Anyway, that, in addition to the terrible service and ratchet of a manager has guaranteed that none of us will ever return to that spot. Read more

Went there with my GF to drink and eat and watch UFC, of course it was packed but we found a table and sat there for 10 min, when i called the waitress to get the order she asked me do you have a stamp? and im like what are ... you talking about .. like food stamp :) she said no you have to go back to the entrance pay 10$ each then you can sit. i have been travelling all over the 5 continents and never seen anything like this ! Since there's no hockey to watch I still got football and this is one of my spots. Since there is only one game I care to watch I didn't think all the tvs were neccessary but it rocks since you can get a good view no matter where your are ... sittign. This isn't a large space so if it's an important game then get there early. It's a bit pricier than other spots but all in all not bad. Read more
