Thai On Yonge - Toronto, Ontario

The restaurant was empty but it had lovely seatings/atmosphere overlooking Yonge street. Reminded me of restaurants in Thailand’s beaches. Very nostalgic and the delicious food just added more to it.

Found this hair planted deeply in the food. Then I asked the waitress if I can get a new one. She said yes, but when the food came, it was not the same dish as before. The first one had cucumbers and fried eggs on top but not the second ... one. Maybe they thought the cucumber and fried egg was finished so there's no need to give serve me those again. The waitress was not the friendliest I've met, she dropped a sorry and left. I also ordered the Thai milk tea and let me tell you half of it was ice and I was told sweetness was fixed and it was way too sweet. Read more

The food here is very watered down, especially for the curry and the spring roll is super small. They say it’s authentic but I don’t think so. I mean they water it down the coconut portion, making it super thin. I never tried a restaurant curry like ... this, where you can’t taste the lemongrass or flavour. They did made sure it’s super spicy. So I feel like they added more spicy than the lemon grass and coconut curry part. I would not recommend coming back here. You can see in the pictures. Was an unplanned visit because the place we wanted to go closed early. But it was good experience. I loved the very Thai feeling you get as soon as you enter from the decorations. The menu seemed to have some for everyone, and food we had was good. Service was ... pretty quick as well. Read more
